The Department of Mechanical Engineering hosts a research conference entitled “Constraint & Fracture for Materials for Structural Integrity Applications” at Imperial College London in cooperation with FESI (Forum for Engineering Structural Integrity), supported by the Lloyd’s Register Foundation.

„Constraint & Fracture for Materials for Structural Integrity Applications”.

IWT-Solutions AG was invited to present, represented by Prof. Langenberg, the current research and development results for the determination of toughness requirements for pressure vessels according to EN 13445-2 to well-known fracture mechanics specialists from Great Britain.

The team of IWT- Solutions AG is looking forward to a stimulating discussion with the English experts and users from the industry, so that the development for the European standard can be continued constructively.
