Once again, IWT-Solutions AG and the Institute for Metallurgy at RWTH Aachen University invited people to the so-called Eifel Colloquium.

This joint event serves to promote the next generation of scientists at the Institute for Metallurgy, one of our most important cooperation partners at RWTH Aachen University.

Young scientists present their research in lectures. The focus is not on the perfect previous day technique, but on the opportunity to discuss openly with colleagues and professors and to collect suggestions for your own work.

For IWT-Solutions AG, this form of cooperation is both an obligation and a source of new knowledge that we incorporate into our customer service.

At the end of the 2-day colloquium, we had the opportunity to visit the steel roof structure of Cologne Cathedral. The steel actually comes from Aachen, where at the turn of the century one of the most modern steelworks (Aachener Hütten-Aktien-Verein Rothe Erde) was located.
