Component Testing

Cooperation with the RWTH Aachen, especially the IEHK and the Zentrum Metallische Bauweisen (Centre for Metallic Constructions)

Component Testing

Component tests are an important addition to the verification of theoretical prediction models. They make it possible to reproduce and analyse the actual load conditions on an original scale. Depending on the size, entire components or parts of components are tested.

In cooperation with the RWTH Aachen, especially with the STeel Institute and the Centre of Metal Construction (ZMB), we can access one of the largest universal testing machines with a maximum force of 12 MN static and 10 MN cyclic and a clamping plate with different test cylinders (1 to 5 MN). Our service includes the planning and monitoring of the tests as well as the evaluation and interpretation of the test results.
