Material damages

In most cases, steels are ordered according to standards. The technical delivery conditions (EN, ASME, GB or others) include minimum values for mechanical properties and boundary conditions for the chemical composition, which are incorporated into the design and further processing. Manufacturers secure the material properties through certified quality management systems.

In the event that

materials with non-standard properties are supplied,
internal and external imperfections (e.g. doubling, rolling shells, hot cracks, cold cracks, blowholes, slags) are discovered or
steels are confused during installation,

we can check whether the deviations can be tolerated and/or which repairs are possible.
