Goal
Improving the application of standard EN 13445-2
Path
Example: In a 1-year Joint Industry Project with 10 European partners as sponsors of RWTH Aachen University, KTH Stockholm and IWT-Solutions AG, the prerequisites for an amendment of the EN 13445-2 standard were created. The application limit of 110 mm thickness could be extended to 200 mm.
The results of the project were transferred into the standardization process by IWT-Solutions AG during the project period and immediately integrated into the standard.
