Technical standards are an important basis for industrial cooperation. In Europe, they are developed and constantly adapted by experts from industry in democratically organised processes. They reflect technological change.
With out knowledge about the development and creation of standards, we carry out assessments for components, materials and material damage that lie outside the standard.
Adaptation of standards for sustainable infrastructure projects
Where necessary and appropriate, we work towards the amendment of existing standards in various bodies.
We are actively involved in various standardization committees for
- EN 10025 for steel construction steels
- EN 10225 for offshore steels
- EN 1563 for cast iron (etc.)
